What we do

Who Can Cut It? has been developed to provide a single platform for both hair and beauty enthusiasts and professionals to come together, interact and – most importantly – build relationships that convert from the screen into the salon. We combine strong editorial content – to keep readers coming back – with an online directory where the emphasis is on reviews and recommendations – perfect for salon owners who have something to shout about.

Why Who Can Cut It?

Managing Director Becky Ashton developed the website following her own personal experiences trying to find a new hairdresser. After being left with a terrible cut and patchy colour she made herself a promise – never again would she have a bad haircut!

The site aims to take the risk element out of the search with reviews, images of cuts actually done by the stylists and recommendations.

We showcase the latest styles, products, celebrity news and beauty news and combine them with where to get the look thanks to our salon directory.

The site will also provide business help and support to salon owners to help them make the most from their business.

We also have a team of ‘experts’ on hand to help with problems and questions and to provide plenty of interesting and insightful content.

If your salon is already listed just simply claim it now and fill out the rest of the information and if it’s not showing you can sign up now and get your clients reviewing their experience.

If you want to be proactive then you’re able to use the site to really showcase your talents and get loads of coverage – without breaking the bank!

Mission Statement

To put an end to bad hair days and poor beauty treatments by showcasing the best salons and spas around. Helping you to make an informed decision based on real reviews from real people.

Click here to set up your listing and as soon as we have all your details we’ll publish it on the site and you can ask your customers to review their experience.

Yes they are. All reviews have to be checked by our team of moderators before they appear on the website.

This means we can ensure that all reviews are constructive, fair and impartial.

We also don’t allow any profamities or personal attacks.

Unfortunately negative reviews are always a possibility, the important thing though is how you respond to it.

Through our administration system you can respond to the review publically or you can take the conversation offline if you’d prefer.

We can also work with you to help improve the customer experience.

If you think a review has been posted by someone who has not been a customer at your salon, maybe a rival salon, then you can report the review.

Our team of moderators will then investigate the situation thoroughly.

The simple answer is yes, so if you have a chain of salons you can simply add each other using the same account.

If you are reading this and either have more than 10 salons, or look after the PR for an entire salon group get in touch at customerservice@whocancutit.co.uk and we can add the listings for you.

The more content written about you and the more places you appear in the better.

Our reviews are all SEO optimised so they will help when it comes to your online presence.
