The Orange Flower Tonic (£13.95) from Yin Yang has been the perfect product for the hot, sticky humid days we’ve all enjoyed this week.
The spray energises with a gorgeous refreshing fragrance, while the super hydrating tonic helps keep the skin moisturised.
It also contains witch hazel which is said to “support the fine tissues around the eyes, relieving strain” ideal for keeping in your handbag for a pick me up after work, if you are swapping your desk for a night on the town.
The bottle says that the Tonic should always be used after cleansing onto clean dry skin, morning and night. The fragrance of sweet orange and warm geranium really lifts the senses and is a great revitalising way to start the day.
But after sitting out in the sunshine I found it was refreshing and cooling, just sprayed straight onto my face and it also added a dewy finish to my makeup – without affecting the coverage.
I will definitely be packing it when I go on my holiday, not least to pack in my beach bag to keep my skin cool and hydrated.
If you’ve not come across Yin Yang products before they are plant based natural skincare products, free of chemical additives, and often using organic botanical ingredients, that are designed to work with the skin’s own systems of renewal and defence.
Since they began manufacturing skincare products in 1973, Yin Yang has refused to use any chemical additives, colourants or artificial fragrances. They use only preservative systems that are free of parabens and other controversial chemical components..
