We are always on the look out for new and different products but is Lush’s shampoo bar taking things a bit too far?
Every other shampoo on the market comes from a bottle but Lush must be onto something as they re-launch their global best-selling bar.
The solid bar made from a range of herbs and essential oils has been designed to encourage consumers to get behind Humane Society International’s global campaign to ban cosmetic animal testing and trade by signing their petition at endanimaltesting.org.
New shampoo bar is a solid bar with cinnamon, clove and peppermint to stimulate your scalp. While the cinnamon leaf, bay and clove bud essential oils combine with peppermint to boost blood flow, stimulating the hair follicles.
An infusion of nettle and peppermint helps to stimulate the scalp and promote healthy hair and finally rosemary soothes, calms your scalp and adds a shine to your hair.
Priced at £5.95 the bar is adorned with the charity’s Be Cruelty Free message in both English and simplified Chinese (as a #hashtag and a Weibo #topic#) – the two most commonly used languages on social media.
